With Beach Road and all its connecting sois closed to traffic from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. March 20-22, the city descended into its usual festival-mode gridlock, with cars backed up Central Road to Sukhumvit Road and pedestrians outpacing pickups on Second and Third roads.
