Wednesday 9th of December was the date for the annual PSC Christmas Party.
Pattaya Sports Club has over 11,000 members and is usually better known for promoting sports in the area and its charitable works that topped over 3 million baht last year, but tonight was party night.
This is one of the district’s premier functions and attracted over 350 party goers.
The Town in Town hotel was the venue. Master of ceremonies Paul Rogers welcomed all and kept the evening moving along.
Children from Pattaya orphanage led by Santa Claus and Toy started proceedings with a variety of Christmas carols that got everyone in the mood for festivities. The kids did a great job and sure looked the part all dressed in season outfits.
This night is more about fun. Speeches were kept to a minimum. PSC President Maurice Roberts did the formal welcomes and ordered the festivities begin.
Dinner music was provided by Keith Wilson and Brian Rosenberg.
A feast of epic proportions was provided along with free flow drinks.
Guests worked their way through salmon sashimi, barbequed seafood and meats, cold cuts, salad, Christmas ham, roast chicken beef and pork as well as all the Thai favorites. Deserts were a plenty.
All this washed down with free flow beer, soft drink, and spirits that included Black Label, Jameson’s, and Bacardi, along with red and white wine.
No time to waste and with meals barely settled it was time for some prizes to be raffled that included gold chains, vouchers from Central Festival Casa Pascal and Mantra.
Music from Brian Thomas and the Soul Horns featuring Paul Rosenberg quickly got the dance floor full with party goers dancing away the night till just before midnight.
