It has been an annual tradition for over three decades that children at the Pattaya Orphanage celebrate their Christmas Day right on December 25th.

It has also been the day most children look forward with great anticipation to receive presents from Santa Claus. This year, it has not been any different. No matter what the current world situation is, we do not want to turn them down.

The evening started with Christmas Carols sung by the Orphanage children. Shortly after, director of the Pattaya Orphanage, Father Michael Weera Pangrak, took to the stage to light the Christmas tree and announce the opening. Pressing a button, gold and silver snow fell from the sky.

This was followed by beautiful classical shows from the Thai Alangkarn Theatre.

The children from the Orphanage, the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) and the Thepprasit Slum with their sponsors and guests enjoyed drawing their luck from thousands of prizes.

Later on, magician Dr. Penguino captured the attention of the children, bringing some of them to the stage to assist. Youngsters crowded the front of the stage, mesmerized by his every trick.

Highest thanks goes to all benefactors who joined the Children’s Christmas Celebration at the Pattaya Orphanage. Time passed by so fast and indeed it was a memorable, delightful and good night for all, which ended with an impressive fireworks show.
