School is tough enough without it being too hot to think. So the Pattaya Sports Club donated 14 fans to Huay Yai School to make learning more of a breeze.
PSC President Peter Malhotra and Charity Committee Chairwoman Noi Emmerson presented the donation to Principal Nilubol Pradubporn, six teachers and almost 100 primary-school students June 11.
PSC is always aware of the importance of children’s basic education in a developing school short of various necessities. Moreover, the school needs more funds to provide convenience and equipment to almost 100 children ages 5-12.
The Pattaya Sports Club has donated 14 fans to Huay Yai School to make learning more of a breeze.
Huay Yai School has a two-story wooden building for primary classes, grades 1-6. Although the school is located not far from downtown Pattaya, it is still short of funds and requires equipment.
Regarding Thailand’s hot weather conditions, PSC is focused on good and proper conditions for classrooms and recreational areas, so it donated 14 fans to the school for the pupils’ well-being and attention in the classroom and dining area.

Malhotra said that with severely hot weather, children cannot pay full attention to their studies. In addition, it could be a factor causing youths to not attend school. Therefore, PSC wanted children to be happy at school and pay attention to their studies.
As a result, children will have more opportunities and a better future for both them and their families.
Ms. Nilubol thanked PSC for the donation. The school is one of four continually supported by the club.
