More than 1,400 people attended the Feb. 27 party, the logistics for which were immense. Local police were brought in to deal with the traffic, courtesy golf carts were supplied so guests wouldn’t have to walk far to their vehicles, and an entire carpark was turned into a glamorous set, replete with lights, sound system and two stages.

The party was held within the grounds of Riviera Jomtien and although the official start time was scheduled for 6:30 p.m., people turned up early in anticipation of the huge turnout.

The evening got off to a start with a band called Gravity 7. The group is regarded as one of the best live acts in Thailand and, within minutes, had set the vibe for the evening.

As the band finished its first set, emcee PK took to the main stage to welcome the guests. This was followed by a Flashmob routine with the dancers emerging from within the crowd and complemented by dancers on stage.

Anticipation rises to see who will win the luxury sports car.

The group management team then arrived by limousine, followed by Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh, Riviera brand ambassador Metinee “Lukkade” Kingpayome and celebrity Saranyu “Ice” Winaipanit.

The entertainment continued with a bartender show featuring industry professionals who had competed on the Thailand’s Got Talent TV show who demonstrated their skills amongst the crowd.
