Who would have thought that Pattaya Mail would become an institution. Certainly not me 16 years ago when I first met Peter Malhotra in his chaotic office. The newspaper had been going for four years, but from my point of view it lacked one of the most important pages – that of a motoring column. I said this to Peter who asked if I could write one, then and there. I did and the rest really is history.
