For this first review I recently visited Spa Cenvaree, a Dead Sea water spa at the Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya, one of the hotels in Thailand’s well-known Centara Boutique collection.
Probably no one can deny that ‘salt’ offers many benefits to the human body and is used in both cooking and detoxifying, and for this reason Spa Cenvaree at the Nova Hotel chooses to utilize its benefits, especially salt that comes from the Dead Sea which is infused with 21 different kinds of minerals. It purportedly helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and stops bacteria.
Spa Cenvaree uses a high quality 100% genuine Dead Sea mud from Israel that claims to have 40 kinds of minerals, 8 times more mineral content than any other sea, and it is combined with charcoal to help draw out impurities and cosmetics from the skin, which are the main causes of acne. This leaves the skin feeling cleansed, smooth, pore tightened and more oxygenated.
To ensure maximum benefits, the Spa Cenvaree treatment also includes the Dead Sea Floatation Pool where the heavy salt content allows customers to float on the water, no matter if they can swim or not. The pool helps to promote healthier skin, which can be augmented with a detoxifying herbal steam bath in the luxuriously outfitted steam room.
Next up is a skin exfoliation treatment using a Dead Sea salt scrub followed by the Dead Sea face mask and then the course is completed with a unique oil massage that feels incredibly relaxing.
Beside the Dead Sea mud and salt treatments, Spa Cenvaree also offers a herbal facial massage that you really should not miss. It uses specially selected organic herbals that are put into small compress balls and gently pressed and massaged on the face to allow vitamins and potent herbal nutrients to penetrate into the skin. Although the spa favors natural ingredients it also realizes the importance of skin irritation protection so it uses top of the line products from Australia’s ‘Jurlique’ company for after-treatments.
Other courses available include a range of massage options and the Vichy Rain Shower which uses water droplets to stimulate better blood circulation. The therapists are all highly trained and the facilities are top notch and decorated in a pleasing Mediterranean style.

The 4 signature treatments of 15mins dip in the Dead Sea floatation pool, 10mins in the steam room, 60mins Dead Sea salt exfoliation and 60mins hot oil massage are available for only baht 999++ per person.
