The man who was suggesting you should live and work in Bangkok has it all wrong. What rock has he been living under? With modern electronic communication, you could be sitting at the North Pole and emailing everything to the Pattaya Mail. Where you hang your hat has nothing to do with living rooms these days.

Dear Geoff,
You are correct, I might be at the North Pole, but, it would be far too cold for me in my summer frocks. Email has changed the world, but Hillary remains unchanged by it all despite the claims of having been ripped-off, lost girlfriends and how to speak Thai that I have to live with each week. So I live somewhere that is nice, warm and friendly. Pattaya, not Bangkok, as was suggested.
