AMCHAM’s night on Broadway raises 1.6m baht for scholarships

On May 5 at the Shangri-La Hotel, AMCHAM Thailand brought the bright lights of New York’s theater district to Bangkok for the Governors Ball, the Chamber’s annual gala, where AMCHAM’s Honorary Chairman of the Board, U.S. Ambassador Glyn T. Davies, welcomed the new AMCHAM 2018 Board of Governors.

Over 400 members donned costumes and black tie for the theme ‘A Night on Broadway’, raising 1.6 million Baht for the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation’s scholarship program, which last year sponsored 174 Thai university students from underprivileged backgrounds.AMCHAM Thailand is the leading international business association in Thailand, with more than 2,000 members representing over 650 American, Thai, and other international companies.
