Pattaya, Thailand – Pattaya Mayor, Poramet Ngamphichet and Deputy Mayor, Thitipan Petchtrakul, met with Mr. Li Jia Hao, Chairman of the renowned Chinese cosmetics company Xi Lo Ti, and his delegation on July 10, to discuss safety measures for Chinese tourists planning to visit Pattaya in late December.
Xi Lo Ti informed the mayor that a group of 3,000 Chinese sales agents will travel to Thailand during this period to participate in various activities. The businessman requested permission to shoot photos and videos around the region to promote tourism in Pattaya City, aiming to inspire a sense of excitement in tourists planning to visit during that time.
Mayor Poramet assured the delegation that Pattaya City is well prepared to welcome large international tourists and has implemented collaborative measures with the police and relevant agencies to ensure their safety.
The Pattaya Countdown event signifying the end of the old year and welcomes the New Year, is expected to attract a hundreds of thousands of visitors during the week-long celebration.
