COVID-19 protection gear received and donated to Pattaya hospitals

Mayor Sonthaya Kunplome and Manote Nongyai hand over one thousand N 95facemasks to Pattaya City Hospital and Banglamung Hospital.

To help alleviate the shortages of medical supplies vital for use at local hospitals during the coronavirus pandemic, many generous companies requested city hall to be the medium to receive and donate these critical resources to hospitals and medical centers.


Representatives of Charoenphan Print and Pack presented 2000 paper face shields to mayoral advisor Praiwan Aromchuen for distribution to the public to protect them from the risk of contracting the coronavirus.

The donations included face masks, face shields, non-contact thermometers, sanitizing gels, aero foggers and other related instruments used in preventing and combating germs and viruses.

Suthikorn Chiapaitoon (2nd right), Vice Chair, and Chang Chue Yong (right), director of the Thai-Chinese Cultural & Relationship Council, present 1000 facemasks, 24 non-contact thermometers and 8 gallons of alcohol to Mayor Sonthaya Khunplome and Deputy Mayor Bunlue Kulvanit for distribution to hospitals and other locations to protect the people from the coronavirus.
To help with the task of disinfecting the city, Phentip Pornjaded and Kowit Rujipermpoon of the Yakyai Supply Company present 4 ULV fogger machines, including 20 litres of disinfectants and germ killers to Mayor Sonthaya Khunplome and Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh.
