PATTAYA, Thailand – Ms. Niramol Thamthatto, Director of the Social Welfare Division of Nongprue Municipality, and her team warmly welcomed persons with disabilities and representatives from the Chonburi Provincial Employment Office January 6. The purpose of the meeting was to verify the rights of individuals with disabilities who have been granted employment support under Section 35 for the year 2025.
This year, 25 persons with disabilities were selected to receive the grants, which were supported by three major companies: Triumph Motorcycles (Thailand) Co., Ltd., MMTH Engine Co., Ltd., and TIPS Co., Ltd.
Ms. Niramol explained that the purpose of this verification process was to clarify and confirm the rights granted to each individual. It also ensured that the companies’ reported employment initiatives aligned with the actual assistance provided. The employment grants will support the beneficiaries for 12 months. However, if companies are satisfied with the employment performance of the individuals, they may choose to extend the support into the following year.
In addition to the verification process, the Social Welfare Division spread New Year joy by presenting gifts to the Chonburi Employment Office staff in celebration of the festive season.
This initiative reflects Nongprue Municipality’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and providing opportunities for persons with disabilities, ensuring they receive meaningful employment and long-term support.
