Pattaya ticket-writers are urging tourists to not be litterbugs.
City hall regulatory officers patrolling Pattaya Beach Aug.3 found that people eating on the beach were leaving their garbage behind.
Officers talked to tourists to remind them there are litter and recycling receptacles on the beach.

City officers said that tens of thousands of people are coming to the Pattaya Music Festival in August and they expect revelers to discard a large amount of their waste on the beach when they leave. But they still hoped that by putting up signs and asking for the people’s understanding and cooperation the people will be more considerate and throw their garbage into designated bins when they go home.
