Celebrity chef Harlan Goldstein offered kids from the Father Ray Children’s Village a preview of his new restaurant with a charity lunch.
Goldstein, who won two Michelin stars while working in Hong Kong, prepared gourmet hamburgers and cake for 118 kids and 32 staff members at the village on Siam Country Club Road Oct. 26.
The American expat came to Pattaya in 2018 to open Comfort by Harlan, an international comfort-food restaurant, only to see it close during the coronavirus pandemic. It’s now being renovated into a new concept.
The Father Ray Children’s Village cares for disadvantaged kids ages 2-18 and provides them basic education.
