Seafood merchants did a thriving business during the Fireworks Festival as people took food to the beach to eat and watch the pyrotechnics.

The influx of Thai tourists for the Pattaya Fireworks Festival was good for Naklua’s Lan Po Market, too.

Vendors lamented that the popular seafood market has been quiet for months. But Friday through Sunday were like old times, with big numbers of shoppers.

Many people bought food to take to the beach to eat during the pyrotechnics show. Many stalls stayed open later to serve the masses.
