Pattaya’s police chief met with bar and club owners to talk fire prevention in the wake of the deadly Sattahip nightclub fire.
Pol. Col. Kullachart Kullachai emphasized at the Aug. 8 session that all entertainment venues must have a fire-safety plan to assist and evacuate customers quickly and safely.
He said all staff should be trained in the location and operation of exit doors, fire exits, fire extinguishers and emergency response. Equipment should be checked regularly, he added.
