Pattaya Expands Tourism Ties with Saudi Arabia: Roadshow brings local businesses to Riyadh.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The City of Pattaya, led by Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, in collaboration with the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office, and 16 local tourism operators, participated in the “Pattaya Roadshow to Riyadh” at the Rosh Rayhaan Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The roadshow brought together notable Pattaya-based businesses such as Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, Avani Pattaya Resort, Dusit Thani Pattaya, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, and many more to present Pattaya’s tourism offerings to over 50 Saudi Arabian buyers. The event’s highlight was a cultural performance showcasing Thailand’s rich traditions.



The roadshow comes after an encouraging increase in Middle Eastern tourism to Thailand, with approximately 742,209 visitors in 2024. The Saudi Arabian market, in particular, has shown growing interest in Pattaya, attracted by the city’s diverse range of attractions and services, including health and wellness, family-friendly activities, and more.

Pattaya aims to expand its reach to this high-quality tourist demographic by promoting its unique offerings at this international event.
