I know Thailand has a different calendar to Europe and most of the rest of the world, but I honestly didn’t realize today, October 12, was April Fool’s Day. But it must be because I saw on page 3 of Pattaya Mail ‘Facing crackdown, Jomtien jet ski vendors choose self-regulation’ (rather than having City Hall doing it I presume).
If it is not April Fool’s Day then is should be – jet ski vendors self regulating is almost as daft an idea as allowing the inmates of a lunatic asylum or prisoners in detention to self regulate!
When is someone going to get serious about these scallywags?
Sorry, stupid question, we all know the answer to that, and we all know the answer as to why it is so, so I am not really surprised that the scammers have been allowed to continue their piracy for so many years without and serious effort to reign them in. And I see no reason, reading the headline ‘Jomtien jet ski vendors choose self-regulation’ to have any hope anything will ever change – sad!
