Re: Controversial Beach Road widening begins (PM Friday, 12 April 2013) – Why can’t they just enforce stopping motorcycle parking and street vendors on the inside lane to free up the fourth lane which is already there? And create designated stopping bays for baht taxis? Surely this would be a more cost effective, less disruptive, and more pleasing than reducing the beach walkway which, to me at least, is one of the attractions of this city.
