Re: Outrageous prices at Koh Samet Clinic (PM Friday, 06 March 2015) – I am opposed to corruption, but I disagree with the notion that a government owned clinic must treat foreigners for the same price as Thai people. This is Thailand, not Farangland. If you want free medical care, go to your own country and have your government provide it. $150 US (5,500 THB) is more than reasonable for a dozen stitches.
