Re: Traffic cops absent as Pattaya parks where it wants (PM Friday, 20 March) – I can understand the major vendors having to double park since Pattaya does not provide loading and unloading zones for them to deliver to their customer base. The problem as I see it is that the businesses which first took over the sidewalks to display their wares, forcing you to walk in the street amongst the traffic, are now taking over ownership of the streets. Pattaya police will not correct the problem, but maybe the military can. One would hope soon.
