Re: Lower motorcycle taxi fares go into effect, likely ignored again by Pattaya drivers (PM Monday, 11 April 2016) – I think the rider should know, clearly the fare before taking a ride. All he has to do is ask and if it sounds/is too high, say thanks and depart. I have never had a driver refuse a lower, but profitable fare offer. I also contract, getting phone numbers, with motorbike and baht bus drivers offering a lower, but profitable rate for my, and friends, continued, exclusive use. My bike / bus guys pick me up at my door in isolated Pratamnak (aka road to oblivion!).
