In reply to Dr. Iain Corness’s article: ‘420,000 die from food-borne disease’ in the online edition of the Pattaya Mail: Referring to deaths from diarrhoea which are totally unnecessary in the modern world. In the UK you can buy 6 Loperamide capsules (the generic version of Imodium) for 49 pence, around 25 baht, and they are really effective; so these should be available globally along with water purifying tablets; it’s not that complicated is it?
