Re: Australian aged pensioners leaving to live overseas (PM Mailbag Friday, 20 June 2014) – Mr Craney indeed needs to keep an eye on his residency status for age pension purposes. Regular returns to Australia and a permanent address there could be critical. Better to fix it now than try to find somewhere to live in an expensive country when you are over 65.
