I have been amazed, on more than one occasion, when ambulances with blaring sirens are held up by drivers too stupid to pull aside. Ambulances need to get to hospital ASAP. This problem, that no doubt has cost lives, easily could be fixed. All ambulances should have a dashboard camera fitted. Police should be given full access to tape and police should also have authority to fine the stupid/selfish/thoughtless drivers 500 baht. Second offense 1,000 baht. Word would spread and lives would be saved.
