Re: City to spend 140 million baht on Pattaya Beach beautification: I have the perfect answer – charge for parking on the beachfront, say 100 baht, and they would soon find somewhere else to park. Spend your money on making car parks as other countries do. It is just laziness parking wherever it suits you.
Another traffic lane would be a nightmare, especially narrowing the beachside for it. Does anyone ever go and see the volume of people on the beachfront? Besides the short time girls, there are people with pushchairs, bicycles, and the odd roller skaters. Also little children like to play safely on it whilst their parents are looking after their beachfront business. This is the most stupid suggestion ever.
