Re: Pattaya officials claim progress in resolving Beach Road illegal parking – Pattaya Mail (PM Friday, 20 June 2014) – There is no real will by City Hall to improve the situation. I would give all the car and motorbike renters and all others in the area 2 days notice that Beach Road will be cleared and then send down a couple of bulldozers and sweep the lot away. A convoy of heavy lorries could take away the debris. That would do it! But no, it will never happen. It’s like the south side of Pattaya Tai, where the vendors have stolen the pavement from the city and people can hardly walk there. And if motorbikes are parked in the road you have about half a metre of space to walk if you are lucky. This is Pattaya. This is in shambles!
