I write on behalf of hundreds of people, to thank whoever has been responsible for curbing the unbearable noise emanating from a supposed beer festival along Soi Buakaow. All too often there is criticism of City Hall, the police, and Banglamung registration office, without being constructive.
We had a situation whereby the glass vibrated in our windows and doors from the decibel output, which began about 5 p.m. and went on until 4 a.m., and families with children, working mums and dads, and hundreds of tourists and residents were suffering. Some were forced to move out. Whichever authority was responsible and answered our pleas for fair and reasonable behavior, are thanked with great gratitude, the inconsiderate selfishness has been curtailed.
Please convey our sincere thanks to the above mentioned bodies through your widely read publication. We cannot know who the persons were who helped, and hopefully through your good offices they will get this message.
