My dear friends,
It is once again the time of year in which I wrote to you in searching for kind support of Christmas presents for the children at the Pattaya Orphanage and street children at the Child Protection and Development Center. We have 192 orphans, 35 deaf, plus 49 street kids at CPDC.
As you may have heard, apart from the bad economic and political situation, there has been flooding in the North and Northeast and the storms downed many provinces in the South, it is really another bad year for Thailand. The government has cancelled their approved fiscal budgets in supporting the orphanage in 2009 and 2010, even though it is less than one million baht annually. With the situation going on in the country, we’re afraid we will not receive government support for another year. Oh dear.
I really have much hope that you will be so kind to contribute in a small way, any way you possibly can, as drops of water making the sea. As always, your kindness is highly appreciated by all of us and the children. May God Bless You.
