Re: Premier medical tourism destination article – The price of US $11,000 quoted for a heart bypass operation must be at a government hospital. I was quoted 500,000 baht earlier this year by a local hospital for putting in a couple of stents. That’s almost US $17,000 for what is basically an outpatient procedure.
