Re: Business owners warned about continuing music-copyright scams (PM Friday, 21 June 2013) – Those SOB*s came to our restaurant 1 year ago (Udon Thani) demanding 50,000 baht. My wife and I talked and I said, no signing of papers, do not do anything. Three hours later at the police station they were laughing at her and said “pay now so you can go home and sleep”. One phone call later to my friend that works for DSI, and everyone at the police station was standing up and being very polite and said, why didn’t you tell us you had friends at DSI? To sum things up: Not one baht was paid, and I’ve never seen those guys now for a long time. Say no to corruption!
