Re: Drains are too small (PM Friday, 10 July 2015) – A simple physics test. Fill a small balloon with air, then put the same amount of air in a much larger one. Release air in both and you will find the smaller one exhibits much more power. The idea is to get the waste to the treatment plant as soon as possible. Once treated it should be released into the ocean. It will cause little impact on the ecology. Instead it is released into the open drains whose sole purpose should be storm water drainage. Wherever you have open drains you will have dumpers. Close the drains to your peril and they will find some other way to dispose of their trash. Beam me up, Will Robinson, maybe the Aliens have the answer. Neither me, you nor city hall have.
