Re: Stop plundering the planet (PM Friday, 19 February 2016) – The condo complex where I stay is a sun trap; I’ve recommended solar panels to the management without a positive response. A bank of solar panels on the rooves inside the complex would soon cover the costs of installation, and eventually they would be getting free, renewable energy, and even being paid for the surplus they don’t use by selling it back to the power company.
Thailand should be leading the way in solar energy usage in South East Asia, it’s clean and limitless; Thailand should even be able to export solar powered electricity to other countries. This may happen, but not in my lifetime I don’t suppose.
