Re: SRT board finally approves dual-track railway plans (PM Thursday, 28 March 2013) – Will the duel track budget be sufficient and well invested? By means of engineering and transportation studies, overtake and lay-by tracks could save needed funds that could be used for rolling stock upgrades and signaling. This brings in the question as to whether the duel track cost estimates include signaling, grade crossings, flyovers and crossovers required for a safe and efficient rail system.
