Re: Didn’t write ‘riff-raff’ or ‘little fish’ (PM Mailbag Friday 22 May 2015) – Keeping money in Thai banks for as little time as possible is intelligent defensive behavior if you are a foreigner. I often wonder how foreigners who live and work in Thailand and handle very large sums manage to negotiate Thai ‘banking’ issues. There are non-Thai citizens with foreign faces that direct or manage or own businesses that generate large sums. I wonder how they manage to deal with the banks.
