Police are searching for gunmen who shot and seriously injured a man outside a Najomtien karaoke bar.
Prasit Mounsuk, suffered wounds to the neck and shoulder from rounds fired from a shotgun-pistol outside the Khrua Mai Man Karaoke near Bunkanyaram Temple July 25. Unconscious, he was transported to Banglamung Hospital.
Witness Chamnan Nongkum said he was sitting outside the bar when two men pulled up on a black Honda Click. After asking in loud voices for the whereabouts of a “Mr. Lon” one of the two pulled out the handmade gun and shot Prasit before fleeing toward Sukhumvit Road.

Police roadblocks failed to catch the gunmen and the motive for the shooting remained unknown.
