Ten people were arrested after failing drug tests during bar raids on Thepprasit Soi 8.
Police and soldiers stormed the Roo Jai and Lala bars Aug. 16. Sixteen women and a man were rounded up from the two locations and 10 of them failed a check for methamphetamine use. Officers also found drug paraphernalia in the rooms above the bars.
The search was aborted, however, after someone cut the power to the lights. Officers promised to return later to continue the search.
The accused drug users were taken back to the Pattaya Police Station for processing.
