Technology Crime Suppression Division police seized more than 10 million baht in pirated goods at the Pattaya Night Bazaar.
Pol. Col. Kithisap Tongsriwong led the after-midnight raid on the Second Road market Nov. 25 following reports of counterfeit branded items being sold there.
Six vendors were arrested with a variety of copied products including wallets, purses, clothes, shoes, watches, belts, beauty products, pens and more.
The TCSD officers required backup from Pattaya officers during the arrests, as many of the sellers refused to cooperate and insisted their goods were legitimate and should not be confiscated.
