Thirteen people were arrested and hundreds of knock-off designer clothes seized in another raid of Mike Shopping Mall in Pattaya.
Economic Crime Suppression officers and agents from the Commerce Ministry’s Intellectual Property Department hit the popular mall Aug. 17 after reports of trademark infringement.
Authorities confiscated 600 pieces of clothing illegally bearing the labels of designers Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Harley-Davison and more.
Officers estimated the seized goods were worth about a million baht.
Popular with tourists for its knockoffs, Mike Shopping Mall has been raided repeatedly over the past several years.
