More than 100 Pattaya nursery school teachers learned training to take their preschools into a “new era” through lectures and a four-day trip to southern Thailand.
The March 19 workshop at the Town in Town Hotel aimed at giving the 135 teachers from Pattaya public schools, Wat Chaimongkol Children’s Development Center and Darul Ibada Mosque Children’s Development Center techniques to promote student development to meet the standards outlined in the National Education Act of 1999.

The 1.27 million baht program featured lectures from Jidapha Smithanon and Anchalee Chomarak of Pitchaya Suksa School speaking on theories consisting of a “New Era of Nursery Teachers” and “Responsibility and Roles” of professional teachers.
The group then visited Koh Panyee Children’s Development Center in Phang-nga and the Children’s Development Center at Municipal School 4 in Krabi from March 20-25.
