138 Thai returnees from Wuhan to be released from quarantine

CHON BURI – The Royal Thai Navy has prepared its Sattahip base to welcome relatives of 138 Thai evacuees from Wuhan city as their quarantine is about to end.



The 14-day quarantine will be concluded on Tuesday (Feb 18) and relatives of the returnees will be received at Abhakorn kiatiwong Hospital in the Sattahip naval base on Wednesday (Feb 19).

The navy on Monday released the video of its officials leading an exercise session for 137 returnees in front of the reception building of the naval base.

The other returnee was at Chon Buri Hospital after being infected with the novel coronavirus. The patient recovered and prepared to return home as well.

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul was set to meet the returnees on Monday evening and prepare to officially discharge them.
