Police arrested four and seized 1.4 million baht in counterfeit name-brand clothes and accessories during a raid of the Mike Plaza market.
Nonthaphan Khonyong, 32, Bunlert Janthanontre, 51, Preecha Theekwattanasakul, 24, and Sakhorn Janthrabucha, 26, were arrested in the after-midnight raid May 31.
Officers seized 2,700 items, including copies of designer underwear, hats, sunglasses, and handbags. Police said 31 brands were infringed.
The raid was part of a May 26-31 crackdown by intellectual-property police called “Operation Hurricane.”
Police bring the suspects out for the media, along with the confiscated merchandise.
