Chonburi police raided a South Pattaya warehouse, scooping up 10 million baht in counterfeit branded goods and the two women allegedly selling them.
Mekhla Pratoodan, 44, and Janthanee Ratanaphan, 29, were taken into custody by intellectual property investigators at the unnumbered room at the Baywalk Residence Dec. 8.
A total of 2,241 pirated items were confiscated, including faux Rolex, Chanel, Omega and other watches, and purported Burberry, Prada, Chanel and other branded handbags.
The two women were jailed on charges trademark violation and selling counterfeited goods.
