Two bar owners were arrested when Banglamung authorities raided karaoke clubs and beers bars open after hours in central Pattaya.
The unnamed owners were taken into custody by district officials and Pattaya police and their businesses, Differ and Noir Club, shut down around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 13.
Deputy District Chief Pichet Dahmmahon led the raid on karaoke and beer bars on Soi Buakhao, Soi Kophai and Soi Bongkot after reports the clubs were remaining open after legal closing times and trying to dupe authorities by simply turning off their exterior lighting.
