Two French nationals were arrested for allegedly using fake electronic cards to rob ATMs in Pattaya.
Rachid Zahoum, 32, and Yousseef Daiman were captured immediately after hitting two Siam Commercial Bank teller machines on Soi Buakhao Jan. 11.
Police had been tipped off by bank security and fanned out across the area, finally finding them near the Soi Buakhao Market. Officers watched as the two drew cash from one machine and moved on to another near Boss Suites Pattaya.

Officers seized from the suspects 32 fake credit cards, a recording machine, 14 black plated magnet devices, a notebook computer and 7,000 baht cash.
Police said the men confessed to robbing ATMs, saying they got the cards from an unnamed French friend. The victims were mostly located overseas.
They said they used their illegally gotten gains to go shopping, go on trips, spend carelessly and bring some back to France.
The suspects were handed over to the French Embassy and face prosecution and deportation.
