Two Iraqis alleged to be part of a larger Middle Eastern burglary gang were arrested during a break-in at the View Talay Holiday Resort.
Haider Adel Twaiur, 34, and Talal Tarik Alsadune, 40, were captured red-handed June 12 during the hotel burglary. Police took from them a skeleton key, two screwdrivers, an Olympus camera and two silver necklaces.

Police alleged the men were part of a group of Iraqi, Algerian and Turkish thieves that have been burglarizing houses and luxury hotels across Thailand.
The arrest came after police were tipped off to a planned burglary at the View Talay. Officers said they watched as Twaiur used the 40,000-baht key imported from Australia to open and burglarize the room while Alsadune was the getaway driver. Once Twaiur emerged with loot in hand, officers swooped in.
