Two college students were hurt when a tour bus collided with their motorbike in Sattahip.
Jakrit Sukuldej, 18, and Sarawan Ampornmaha, 18, both suffered broken legs in the Sept. 25 crash at the Ban Amphur intersection in Najomtien Sub-District. Both of the Thai-Austrian Technical College students were treated at Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center.
The driver of the pink tour bus that hit the bike, Wuthinan Yaowapan, 55, told police that he had sped up to get through a yellow light before it turned red. As he did, the motorbike turned right in front of him and, due to speeding, he was unable to stop in time.
Police planned to review traffic-camera footage before pressing charges.
