Police arrested 28 naked foreigners and Thais in a raid of sex party at an illegal hotel in Pattaya.

Banglamung District officials and Pattaya police stormed the Ban Tulip Hotel April 21, finding 14 couples having group sex and exchanging partners during the “swingers party” they paid 1,500 baht each to attend. Rooms were scattered with condoms, lubricant, sexual enhancement drugs and sex toys.

Middle age foreign men from Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Ukraine, the United States and United Kingdom, were taken into custody, along with Thai woman and a couple Thai men.

The hotel, featuring 30 rooms and a “play zone” spread over a rai of property, has been open for five years, but was never licensed.

Pattaya police have asked Banglamung District Chief Naris Niramaiwong to close the hotel and – after calculating the fines and per-day penalties for such an offense, recommend to Chonburi Province that owner, Chinese national Xeng-chai Yang, 53, be fined 18 million baht.

He also was arrested and additionally faces charges of offering sexual services, public indecency, encouraging public indecency, and operating an illegal sex business.

Staffers were forced to serve the swinging guests hot tea, clean up their mess and even join in the sex games, Naris said.

The district chief added that the hotel had openly advertised its weekend sex parties on the internet, but admitted authorities remained oblivious to it until receiving a complaint.
