Three Chonburi students received scholarships from a royally backed foundation sympathetic to the needs of flood victims.
Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai on Jan. 31 presented the stipends to Burapha University political science student Jedsada Promsri, Ban Bung high schooler Akarachai Sukhuang from Boonpratheepwittayakarn School, and fifth grader Pornpravee Sukhuang from Sataworn School, also in Ban Bung.
The scholarships were funded by the royally backed Ratprachanukhro Foundation. It was directed by the Royal Household to create scholarships for students whose families were affected by flood disasters. (CPRD)
