Three transvestites were arrested for allegedly pickpocketing foreign tourists in Pattaya.
Police announced the capture of Atorn Kitkla, 27, Patomporn Horadee, 22, and Sodpon Piempetch, 23, Oct. 1. They were apprehended with a wallet, coins, $1,900 in U.S. currency, an ID card that belonged to a Taiwanese tourist and four ATM cards.
The arrests came amid continuing complaints of ladyboys accosting pedestrians and making off with their valuables.
Police later conducted an investigation which led them to the three transvestites near Soi 4 where they found suspects described by victims.
The trio tried to escape, but were surrounded by officers and taken to their apartment in the Niran Condominium where the items reported stolen were found.
Atorn Kitkla, Patomporn Horadee and Sodpon Piempetch were caught with stolen goods they allegedly pickpocketed from tourists.
